Next-level retail spaces for next-level cars
Our Polestar Spaces will bring a new approach to automotive retail, allowing customers to interact physically with the products in a unique, sales-free context. Located in major cities around the world, these Spaces lend themselves to the brand’s premium aspirations in terms of both design and technical innovation.
We are currently creating the interior concept for Polestar Spaces in a new retail lab. The concept draws from the same minimalist and uncompromising design found in our cars, showcasing Polestar’s design language, philosophy and brand experience in a manner similar to art installations.
The difference between a Polestar Space and a traditional car dealership goes well beyond cosmetics however. As cars are ordered online, visiting customers will not experience hard-sell commission-based salespeople or the pressure of signing a contract. Instead they can focus entirely on getting to know the brand and its products both digitally and physically.
By the middle of 2020, the goal is to have up to 60 Spaces available in metropolitan areas across our key launch markets. As we progress, new Spaces will be opened to support the retail development.
When in Rovaniemi
Do as the locals do. Words of wisdom that any seasoned traveller is familiar with. They don’t just govern behavior, however. They speak to the importance of having an open mind, embracing new customs, and adapting to one’s surroundings. There are equivalents in all languages. In English, one is told that “when in Rome, do as the Romans do”. It counts for the Italian capital, just as it counts for northern Finland. Which is exactly where we headed this winter.
Yearly Highlights 2022
Some might measure a year in sunrises, sunsets, or cups of coffee. But at Polestar, a year is measured in moments. Through groundbreaking innovations, milestones, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, 2022 has been quite the journey. Some moments have been big, and others have been huge.
