Locking the armrest storage

You may want to temporarily lock the armrest storage, located in the tunnel console, for when you are away from your car.

You can lock and unlock the armrest storage with a PIN code via the centre display. The PIN will be deactivated after you unlock the armrest storage. Make sure you create a new PIN whenever you want to lock the armrest storage again.

The PIN can only be set when using the owner profile.

Locking the armrest storage

Press the settings symbol in the top bar and go to Settings.
Go to Interior → More → Armrest passcode.
Type in your four-digit PIN and press Save Passcode.
Enter your email address to get your PIN code emailed to you if you forget it and press Finish.

Unlocking the armrest storage

To unlock the armrest storage, press the settings symbol in the top bar, go to Settings → Interior → More → Armrest passcode and type in your PIN.

Forgotten PIN

Numerous failed attempts to enter the correct PIN code will temporarily block you from using the number pad. After some minutes, you will be able to try again.

If you forget the PIN code and you entered an email address when setting it up, you can request the PIN code to be emailed to you. Go to Armrest passcode → Reset armrest box passcode and press Send. Once you've received the PIN code, type it in via the centre display.
