Rear seat

Polestar 1 is a 2+2-seat coupé model with two front seats and a simple rear seat that cannot be folded down or adjusted. The rear seat is designed for a maximum of two occupants.

 Important

The rear seat is recommended for individuals with a height of up to max. 150 cm.

Read through the child safety section in the Manual for information on positioning children safely in the rear seat.

 Warning

Only children up to 125 cm (4 feet, 1 inch) may travel on booster cushions in the rear seat. Children more than 125 cm (4 feet, 1 inch) tall travelling on booster cushions must sit in the front seat of the car.1

Getting into and out of the rear seat

To get into or out of the rear seat:
Unsnap the belt guide at the head restraint and remove the seatbelt from the belt guide.

Press the button on the upper part of the front seat backrest to move the seat.
Then refit the seatbelt in the belt guide and snap the belt guide closed.

 Warning

The belt guide must always be used by all front-facing front seat occupants; it is therefore important to always refit the seatbelt in the belt guide.
