This suite of safety systems gives Polestar 2 even more sensory capabilities. It warns about cars lurking in blind spots, incoming traffic while reversing, and possible collisions from behind. When necessary, Polestar 2 will intervene with steering assistance or brake support.

Leave the headlights on high beam. The intelligent Pixel LED technology adapts to light and weather conditions for maximum visibility while also shading out oncoming traffic to prevent blinding other road users.

Adaptive Cruise Control allows Polestar 2 to adjust its speed to the pace of traffic automatically. Touch the accelerator or brake pedal at any time to take back control.

Pilot Assist complements Adaptive Cruise Control, supporting the driver in keeping Polestar 2 centered in the driving lane. It monitors the car’s position, making light steering adjustments when required, according to the proximity of the lane markings.

The LED front fog lights don’t just improve visibility in murky weather. At speeds below 19 miles per hour, the left or right lamp illuminates the area close to the car when cornering, providing a better view of the road when it’s dark.
Four cameras provide a 360º bird’s-eye view around a virtual image of the car, helping to manoeuvre in tight spaces without running into problems.
Minimal stress, maximal visibility. The frameless exterior mirrors automatically dim bright light when driving in limited light conditions, working in unison with the interior rearview mirror.
In addition to the Park Assist system that warns the driver of obstacles at the front and the rear, the Pilot pack includes side-scanning sensors, providing even better guidance when manoeuvring in tight spaces.
