Tips in the event of problems with Internet connection

If you experience problems when connecting your car to the Internet, there are a number of things you can try.
  • If the clock has been reset, e.g. after the current to the battery has been disconnected during a service visit, it needs to be reset before the car can be connected to the Internet.
  • Certain phones deactivate tethering after contact with the car has been disconnected, e.g. if the phone sharing the Wi-Fi network is taken out of the car. To reconnect to the Internet, activate tethering (portable/personal hotspot) in the phone.
  • If the Internet connection via the car modem (P-SIM) is deactivated, the car will automatically attempt to reconnect to the Internet.
