It is possible to create a Polestar ID in different ways.

It is possible to create a Polestar ID before the car is delivered. In this case, the Polestar is used. The Polestar 1 is used when the car has been delivered.
Download the latest version of the Polestar app or the Polestar 1 to your phone, via e.g. the App Store or Google Play.
Choose to create a Polestar ID.
The website for Polestar ID creation opens. Fill in the requested information.
Tick the box to accept the terms and conditions.
Press the button to create a Polestar ID.
An email/SMS message is sent to the address/mobile number given. Follow the steps provided in the message to confirm.
Your Polestar ID is now ready to be used.

Go to polestar.com.
Select login and once logged in select to create a Polestar ID.

Check the box to accept the terms and conditions.
Press the button to create a Polestar ID.
An email/text message will be sent to the address/mobile number you entered. Follow the steps provided in the message to confirm.
Your Polestar ID is now ready to be used.
