Polestar and Harman Kardon

High fidelity. A term used to describe a sound system’s ability to faithfully reproduce sounds without distorting them. Fidelity, taken by itself, means faithfulness to an idea or approach. A single-mindedness Polestar shares with audio innovators Harman Kardon.

Therefore, the process was accordingly collaborative when it came time to design the sound system for the Polestar 2. Both Polestar and Harman Kardon knew that staying true to our shared values was the only way to bring this system to life. It was crucial to express our commitment to our common ideals: obsessive design, technological innovation, and a minimalistic approach.

A truly high level of fidelity.

Hear Industrial Designer Jan Geisler go through the process in the Harman-produced video above.
