2021 People's Choice Award

Preaching to the converted is one thing. Receiving an award from the converted is another thing entirely. Norway, a country that needs very little convincing when it comes to the merits of EVs, has just voted for Polestar 2 as the winner of the 2021 People’s Choice award.

It's progressive, something different, and has all the extras without the fuss. Just the way Norwegians like it.

Done in conjunction with the Car of the Year award, the People’s Choice voting was held by Norwegian publications Dagbladet and DinSide. From November 3rd to 16th, readers could vote on three of the 32 nominated cars. And Polestar 2 was the clear winner. “It’s progressive, something different, and has all the extras without the fuss,” states Alexander Hørthe, Head of Polestar Norway, “just the way Norwegians like it.”

Though Norway leads the world in EV adoption, a few holdouts still remain who have yet to commit to the electric cause. To them, we’ll keep preaching. To the converts, thanks for the award.
