Folding down the rear seats
You can fold the rear seats by using the seat adjustment knob on the outer rear seats.
The left seat can be folded on its own whereas the centre and right seats fold together.
Important
Before folding the seats, make sure:
- the seats are adjusted to their most upright position.
- there are no objects on the seats.
- the seatbelts are not buckled.
- the centre armrest is folded up.
- there is enough space to fold the seats down.
Warning
If any of the rear seats are folded down, they must not be in contact with the seats in front. This can impede the safety of other occupants.
Tip
If the right-hand seat doesn't fold down, try putting the centre armrest upright again.
Press and hold the button on the seat adjustment knob for a few seconds. If you press the seat adjustment knob on the right-hand seat, it will also fold the rear seat centre armrest.
The seat releases and folds forwards.
You can fold down the divider wall to expand the boot space. This can be useful for transporting larger items. The divider wall is located behind the rear seats and separates the passenger compartment from the boot.
When you no longer need the extra cargo space, press and hold the button on the seat adjustment knob to fold the seat back to its upright position.
