Cornering illumination

The fog lights include the corner illumination function, which temporarily illuminates the area diagonally in front of the vehicle in the direction the steering wheel is turned in a sharp turn, or in the direction indicated by the turn signals.

The function is activated in weak daylight or dark conditions when the lighting ring is in position PS-1926-Left-side steering wheel lever-AUTO symbol or PS-1926-Left-side steering wheel lever-Low beam symbol and the vehicle speed is less than about 30 km/h (about 20 mph).

Both cornering illumination lights also come on to supplement the backup lights when backing up.

The function is activated as the default factory setting and can be deactivated/activated using the center display.
