Precept to enter production
Your wish is our next project.
All in. A colloquial expression meaning that one is fully committed to something. In poker, it also means to bet everything you have before revealing your hand. And though we lean towards the former when using this idiom to reference our own pursuit of sustainable electric performance, the latter works too. Time to put our cards on the table. Starting with our LCA report.
EVs have always been marketed as “clean.” We're guilty of it ourselves. And in some respects, this is undebatable. The average internal combustion engine car emits 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide a year. The average EV emits 0. Tough to argue with.
It can be difficult to know when a tipping point has been reached. Usually, a series of events, both big and small, have led the situation to a point where change is inevitable. And sometimes, that change doesn't happen fast enough. Sometimes, a boost is needed to get to the event horizon.
Polestar Precept, our vision vehicle, is made with sustainable, organic and upcycled material solutions, creating a new expression of premium. It is made with groundbreaking technologies integrated throughout, such as an intuitive infotainment system. It is made with design elements, both exterior and interior, that more closely resemble designs from the world of aerospace.
Nothing compares with the excitement of exploration. The urge to see what's out there is what propels mountain climbers to the peaks. It causes scientists to send remote vehicles to Challenger Deep. Whenever a new frontier opens up, physical or virtual, there's no shortage of curious people eager to explore it to the very edges.
#dreamroadtrip soundtrack | The song in the current campaign, Beautiful Dreamer, was a regular part of the Beatles set list and has been performed by legends like Bing Crosby and Roy Orbison. Musician and actor Lola Kirke brings it to life for a new generation, and shares the music that inspires her on the road.
While we're dreaming of getting out into the world, we thought we’d share some music for open roads and open windows with fresh air blowing in, headed for dreamy destinations. Seven playlists, seven great rides. We saved you a seat.
#dreamroadtrip soundtrack | An understated ode to New York City nights and sunny Upstate weekends, Roddy Parker’s kinetic mix feels like something good is about to happen.
#dreamroadtrip soundtrack | Arkitect built the beat for our Minimalist Bungalow on Abbot Kinney last summer. With this new set he sends us off dreaming of summer nights with friends.
#dreamroadtrip soundtrack | Montréal, tu es dans notre cœur. Our party at Arsenal Art Contemporain in Montréal was one of our favorites thanks to the extraordinary space, stunning company, and DJ Witnessing’s ethereal bass spun, literally, from above.
#dreamroadtrip soundtrack | On our last night in town last fall, we hosted a party at 5 Brock in Queen Anne West. It was a memorable evening with ambient beats that kept the whole room buzzing. DJ Witnessing brings us back.
#dreamroadtrip soundtrack | Wide open spaces bigger than big, Dennis Cao’s playlist blends sea and sky with a dreamy, atmospheric start that carries us down over the mountains of BC, right into the steady electric thrum of the city.
#dreamroadtrip soundtrack | These days we are reminiscing about our summer cocktail party last year, where DJ Dreams set the beat at the Sheats-Goldstein residence in the Hollywood Hills, an indoor-outdoor architectural icon whose gorgeous walls have witnessed some legendary parties over the years.
#dreamroadtrip soundtrack | Late last summer we spent a few days soaking up the singular magic of the Bay Area. But first, we threw a party at SFMoMA, surrounded by some of our favorite things: art, tech, design, and music by DJ dream team Night Sea.
