Activating and deactivating tow mode

Tow mode is used when the vehicle needs to be able to roll freely, for example, to pull it up onto the bed of a tow truck.

Activating Tow mode

Tap

in the center display.

Tap More.

Tap Car status.

Tap Service.

Select Tow Mode.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

The vehicle is now in tow mode and can roll freely.

Towing is not recommended at speeds higher than 30 km/h (18 mph), even when permitted by local regulations.

Make sure the vehicle is stationary.

Activate the parking brake.

Tow mode is now deactivated.
