Range
The advanced motor technology of Polestar 3 makes it perfectly suited for all kinds of journeys. The Rear and Dual motor versions focus on range, while the Performance version adds power and acceleration.

Extending the range
Range-optimising tools like the range assistant app, pre-entry climate control, and the energy-saving heat pump give the driver multiple options for extending Polestar 3’s range.
Energy saving heat pump
Waste heat doesn’t have to be wasted heat. The heat pump warms up the cabin and preserves charge for more time on the road by making use of run-off thermal energy from the electric motors, battery, and ambient air.
Charging
Polestar 3 is ready for all charging options. With the 800 V architecture, it can go from 10-80% in 22 minutes, making more time for what matters.

800 V architecture
Faster charging speeds. Greater powertrain efficiency gains. And an increase in sports car-like performance. Polestar 3’s 800 V architecture delivers results that live up to its title of the SUV for the electric age. With great power comes great charging capabilities after all.
Drivetrain
Two different drivetrains. Two distinct characters. The rear-wheel drive setup features the latest passive dampers for sporty handling and control. The all-wheel drive system continuously adapts to road conditions, deactivating the front motor to optimise performance and efficiency.
Range or Performance modes
Balancing power and efficiency, Polestar 3 with all-wheel drive includes two drive modes. "Range" provides a smoother pedal response for a more refined ride, while "Performance" raises the sensitivity for quicker access to power and torque.
Suspension
Polestar 3’s suspensions are defined by perfectly balanced comfort and performance dynamics. The active air suspension delivers a truly adaptive drive by adjusting ride height via sensor input, while the passive dampers keep the driving experience nimble and comfortable.
Active air suspension
Adapting to sensor input 500 times a second, the active air suspension enhances the handling and ride quality of all performance situations. Polestar 3 lowers its ride height at speed to reduce aerodynamic drag, and the system can be changed for feel through different settings.

Passive dampers
Ultramodern passive dampers for Polestar 3 come as standard. Add-on valves such as the hydraulic rebound stops (HRS) and frequency selective damping (FSD) impart a fine balance of ride comfort and handling.

22-inch Performance wheels
The 22-inch Performance wheels are forged instead of cast, making them stronger than conventional alloys while allowing for more intricate detailing. Together with custom-developed Pirelli P Zero tyres, these wheels ensure excellent handling and road contact.

Brembo brakes
Standard on every Polestar 3, the high-performance Brembo brakes benefit from decades of competition experience and a long-time partnership with Polestar. The ventilated discs and four-piston aluminium front callipers offer increased rigidity and quick response at any temperature.
