Using the cameras and radar, this system helps to steer the Polestar 2 if it calculates that the car will go off the road.

If the Polestar 2 crosses a lane marking and heads into the path of an oncoming vehicle without the driver taking action, this system helps to steer the car back.

Active between 40 and 124 mph, this system corrects the course of the car if it comes close to crossing a lane marking.

If a collision occurs, the Polestar 2 automatically brakes to prevent further damage to the car and its surroundings.

This cloud-based system keeps the driver informed about road conditions and potential hazards along the route.

As part of Connected Safety, Slippery Road Alert tells the driver if there’s a risk of slippery driving conditions at the car’s current position or on the road ahead. 

This system warns the driver if another connected Polestar or Volvo car on the road ahead has its hazard lights on.

Driver Alert Control sends audio and visual cues to the driver when it detects that they may be tired or distracted.

It can be easy to miss a road sign while driving. The Polestar 2 makes sure that doesn't happen.

This function prevents the car exceeding a set speed limit. The speed can be configured by the driver, or automatically via the Road Sign Information system.
