Adjusting Pilot Assist settings
You can adjust the level of support provided by Pilot Assist.
Pilot Assist includes several features. Some of which you can enable, disable or customise in assist settings while others are adjusted using the steering wheel buttons. This allows you to set Pilot Assist up for the level of support you want.
The customisable settings include:
Adapt to speed limit | The set speed is automatically updated if the speed limit changes. This feature can be activated in Pilot Assist settings. |
Lane change assist | Pilot Assist provides steering assistance during your signalled lane changes. This feature can be activated in Pilot Assist settings. |
Steering assist | Guides the steering wheel movement to correctly position your car in its lane. You can activate or deactivate steering assist using the steering wheel buttons. |
Time interval to vehicles ahead | Adjust the target time interval to the vehicle ahead using the steering wheel buttons. You can use this to adjust the distance to vehicles in front of you. |

Features such as steering assistance and time interval to vehicles ahead can be adjusted using the steering wheel buttons. The driver display typically shows what actions are available and which buttons to use.

Changing driver support settings
Make sure that you understand how changing the car’s settings affects its behaviour. It is particularly important when it comes to features that affect the level of assistance the car can provide.
Customising Pilot Assist features in settings
Press the car symbol in the bottom bar and go to Assist.
Go to Pilot Assist.
Customise the Pilot Assist settings to your preferences.
