2% Benefit-in-kind tax
Benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax rates are set, in part, by a car’s CO2 emissions. The 100% electric Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 emit zero tail-pipe emissions, meaning they qualify for the lowest ‘band’ at only 2%. Even better, this will remain at 2% until 2025. By comparison, BIK tax is set to a minimum of 15% for petrol and diesel cars.

- 01.Configure your Polestar
Powertrains, packs and paint options. Decide on a Polestar that suits your needs in our configurator. When you've finished your configuration, you may wish to download the PDF and email that to your scheme coordinator for reference when using your salary sacrifice portal. If you already know which of our electric performance cars you'd like to drive, head to step two.
Configure - 02.Visit your salary sacrifice portal
Your employer will help you access this if you haven’t used it before. This is where you’ll be able to explore the various Polestar options available to you.
- 03.Find your Polestar
Make reference to your previously created configuration if you need to, and choose the Polestar you'd like from what's available in your scheme. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Polestar Support on 08081348372.
- 04.Place your order
Every scheme is unique. Follow your scheme guide to place your order.
- 05.Sit back and relax
Your scheme coordinator will then place your order directly with Polestar. We’ll then create your order and link it to your Polestar ID (which you can use to track your order progress), and we’ll email you to confirm your details.
- 06.Accept your handover
We’ll be in touch before your order arrives to update you on its progress. As the big day draws near, we’ll reach out asking you to accept a handover date. Once that’s done, welcome to the Polestar Universe.
