Experience convenience in the smartest way possible. Integrated Google¹ services simplify road navigation, enabling actions via voice commands and providing the ability to control Polestar 5 remotely.
Google Maps
Drive with even more confidence using Google Maps built into Polestar 5. Intelligent routing adapts to the car’s battery range in real-time for seamless navigation, and destinations can be sent from the phone to Polestar 3 for an effortless, connected start.
Google Assistant
Get hands-free help from Google Assistant in Polestar 5. Say “Hey Google” to adjust music, control climate settings, communicate with compatible smart home devices, and more, all while staying focussed on the road.
Google Gemini
As the driver’s AI assistant, Gemini from Google performs complex requests through natural speaking. Change the car climate settings. Or have a discussion that ends with a trip to a new restaurant. Gemini connects favourite apps and vehicle data to take action and respond intelligently.
Google Play Store
From YouTube to Waze to Spotify, hundreds of in-car apps are available to download in Polestar 5 via the Google Play Store. They are developed and optimised for seamless operation with the car’s infotainment system.
Bowers & Wilkins for Polestar
A household name for audiophiles, the Bowers & Wilkins sound system for Polestar 5 is a precise arrangement of 21 speakers totalling up to 1,610 watts. It combines with the car’s unique interior architecture to deliver crisp, true-to-studio sound. The best audio system isn't the one that gives the most. It's the one that loses the least.

With wireless Apple CarPlay¹, Polestar 5 drivers can connect a compatible iPhone to the car via Bluetooth. It can be controlled via the infotainment screen or voice commands, allowing users to play music, make phone calls, use Siri, and more.

Polestar app
From starting the climate and checking the battery status to locking and unlocking Polestar 5, the Polestar app allows drivers to control their cars straight from their mobile devices.
Driver profiles
Polestar 5 stores the preferred settings for up to six drivers. Upon detecting an authorised key, the in-car software loads the matching profile and adjusts the seat position, mirrors, all drive settings, and more. It'll also bring up favourite apps and playlists.
Digital key
Users of compatible Apple devices can sync the digital key to their device’s wallet to lock, unlock, and start Polestar 5. The main driver can share and manage secure copies of the key, and the preferred settings of up to six drivers can be stored.
