Redefining the drive-in

Tenet (/ˈtɛnɪt/): 1. A principle or belief. 2. The latest film by Christopher Nolan. Since Polestar’s inception, our tenets haven’t changed: to accelerate the shift to more sustainable electric mobility through innovation. Therefore, we never miss a chance to redefine and reimagine. Such as our latest event in the UK.

Polestar sponsors a fully electric drive-in cinema.

We partnered with Fully Charged to throw a fully electric drive-in cinema event at Farnborough International Airport. The movie was played on an outdoor screen following a pre-screening of the Polestar TV ad, and the Fully Charged Polestar 2 review video.

The event allowed all owners of electric vehicles, regardless of the brand, the chance to be part of a unique and safe screening experience of the aforementioned sci-fi action blockbuster. Test drives preceded the movie, giving attendees the opportunity to get up close and personal with the Polestar 2.

Leading up to the event, 24 UK fans had the chance to win VIP tickets through a social competition where they shared what they love most about electric cars. They got to enjoy front row seats (in Polestar 2s) at the cinema along with Polestar 2 owners and members of the media. Much like our London space kit,  we took every opportunity to optimise the experience in a non-traditional way. VIP guests received a vegan food and drinks hamper as part of their all-electric experience.

Our tenets remain the same, whether we’re redefining electric performance or reimaging experiences.
