Polestar 2 is Switzerland’s Car of the Year

We’ve always had a soft spot for Switzerland. It’s where Polestar 2 made its real-life debut. It’s where Precept would have done the same. It doesn’t hurt that Switzerland itself is a truly beautiful place. And of course, the flag is a big plus. It seems like the feeling is mutual, as Switzerland has just chosen Polestar 2 as the winner of the Car of the Year award.

Evaluated by an expert jury consisting of engineers, journalists, and drivers, Polestar 2 took the lead, based on criteria including (but not limited to) design, drivetrain, handling, quality, functionality, safety, environmental friendliness, and infotainment.

"The award is naturally a great success for our young brand," says Sascha Heiniger, Head of Polestar Switzerland. "At the same time, we see it as a confirmation and an obligation to continue on our uncompromising path towards contemporary and sustainable mobility.”

We’ve always liked Switzerland. It’s nice to know they feel the same way.
