Opening the boot hands-free
If your hands are full and you have your distance-capable key with you, just pass your foot under the rear bumper once to make the boot open.

Make sure you have a distance-capable key on you.
Make a single, slow kicking motion under the left-hand side of the rear bumper and step back.
A short sound signal indicates that the boot hatch is about to open.
Note
Repeated foot movements cancel or reset the activation.
When you want to use the hands-free feature for closing the boot, repeat the kicking motion once.
A short sound signal indicates that it's about to close.
Keep in mind that any obstructions to the sensor, such as mud, may interfere with it responding properly.
Any attachments on the car's rear, such as bicycle racks, may also interfere with the sensor.
