Sound settings

You can change and adjust a variety of sound options in sound settings.

The sound settings view has three tabs: sound space, equaliser and volume.

Sound space

There are sound focus options that you can choose from to change your listening experience: standard, driver and rear. Standard is the default setting and doesn't focus the sound in a particular direction. It provides a neutral sound focus where occupants in the front and rear seats have the same sound experience. You can also choose to direct the sound only towards the driver or the rear seats.

Equaliser

You can change the tone of the in-car sound using the different adjustment levels. There are also five EQ presets available to choose from: Flat, Soft, Voice, Dynamic and Custom.

Volume

You can adjust the volume for the following:
  • Media
  • Ringtone
  • Call
  • Navigation
  • Voice command

You can also turn display touch sounds on or off as well as reset any volume adjustments.

The noise compensation setting automatically adjusts the sound volume inside the car according to the level of noise outside the car. You can select low, standard and high compensation levels, or turn the feature on or off.
