Locations of cameras, sensors and radars
Many of your car's driver support features rely on data from components that scan and map your car's surroundings, such as cameras, sensors and the radar. This section doesn't show all components and their precise locations, but it gives you a general idea of where they are. Areas pointed out in this section are particularly important to keep clean. Damage to these areas can also affect functions that rely on components located there.
Warning
Clean regularly
Camera, sensor and radar locations on the car must be cleaned on a regular basis and kept free from labels, objects, dirt and other potential obstructions. Otherwise, car functions may respond incorrectly or become less responsive or deactivated.
Mounted accessories
Be mindful of the effects of mounted car accessories such as load carriers or exterior lighting accessories. The items themselves or the load you add may obstruct cameras, sensors or radars.

- 1The top-centre of the windscreen houses a front-facing camera.

- 3There is a camera below the emblem area in the front of the car.
- 4There is a radar behind the centre area of the front bumper.
- 5The front of the car also has a radar in each corner.

- 6There is a rear-view camera in the centre of the rear bumper.
- 7The rear of the car also has a radar in each corner.
Tip
Finding the parking sensors
You can see the exact locations your car's ultrasonic parking senors by looking for their button-like cover plates along the bumper panel.
Important
Cleaning in front of the radar
If you find dirt, snow or ice, or if the car indicates that the radars are blocked, you should address it as soon as possible. Always clean and clear a large area around the radars to make the full field of view available.
