Polestar 1 road tests – Spain
It wasn't easy leaving the Arctic Circle for the Mediterranean, but the Polestar 1 steering software won't test itself.
Therefore, the Polestar engineers and technicians traded pine trees for palm trees, traded their boots for flip-flops, and left Jokkmokk (with its May temperatures of 9 degrees) for Barcelona. We made sure to document the process, which you can see in the gallery.
Details make a difference: Polestar 2 design and performance upgrades
Sometimes, the smallest things can have the greatest impact. A fitting sentiment from a company made up of the detail-obsessed. Since Polestar's inception, the details have been in focus. As has our ambition to constantly improve.
Hot and cold behavior: how EV batteries are affected by extreme temperatures
EVs are an integral part of a cleaner, more sustainable future. And to enable widespread electric vehicle adoption, they must be optimized for all environments and conditions. After all, whether it's 25 °C or -25 °C (77 °F or -13 °F) outside, the tailpipe emissions still need to be zero.
Staying current about current: the latest from the world of batteries
Everyone knows that EVs have batteries. Keeping up with the ever-evolving world of batteries, however, is a different story. Which is why we decided to break it down. In this series, we will explore the state of the art of EV batteries, answer the most common questions about their second-life applications, and provide a breakdown of cutting-edge battery technology.
