Being able to accelerate swiftly and effortlessly isn’t the only forte of the Polestar 2. As its all-electric powertrain is far less complicated than those found in conventional cars, you have instant power and torque on tap at any given moment.

There are three different powertrains available for the Polestar 2, making it easy to match the specifications to your personal preferences and driving environment.

For those seeking an even more responsive driving experience, the power output of the Polestar 2 Long range Dual motor can be boosted with the performance software upgrade. Available as part of the Performance pack or as a separate update for existing owners, it increases the torque to 680 NM (502 lb-ft) and the power to 350 kW (469 bhp), covering the complete RPM register.

To provide the optimal amount of traction, all three versions of the Polestar 2 have electronically controlled electric motors. Obsessively tuned for various weather conditions and driving environments, they deliver regardless of road surface materials or prevailing conditions.

Each version of the Polestar 2 produces enough torque to tow up to 3300 pounds. This means that the car can pull more than the weight of a 6 berth caravan, using the optional semi-electric towbar.

Add the Performance pack to get high capacity Brembo brakes, adjustable Öhlins dampers, a power boosting software upgrade, 20” Forged Alloy Wheels and more.
