Using the launch feature
Launch can be used when you need maximum acceleration from a standstill, such as when starting your car on a steep incline.
The launch feature can be helpful when you're starting the car on a steep uphill incline as it allows maximum acceleration from a standstill.
Note
The launch feature should be used sparingly as it causes wear on the engine.
The launch feature is only available from a standstill, and after fastening your seatbelt and selecting gear D.
Note
The launch feature is not available if you're towing a trailer.
Press the brake pedal all the way down.
Press the accelerator pedal all the way down.
The driver display will indicate that the launch feature is getting ready.
Release the brake pedal once the launch feature is ready.
The car launches with maximum acceleration.
