World EV Day

It can be difficult to know when a tipping point has been reached. Usually, a series of events, both big and small, have led the situation to a point where change is inevitable. And sometimes, that change doesn’t happen fast enough. Sometimes, a boost is needed to get to the event horizon.

World EV Day is September 9th. And Polestar is a founding member

Such as World EV Day.

Launched by Swedish-Swiss firm ABB and sustainability media company Green.TV, September 9th will be a day of “global e-mobility appreciation, helping to drive the shift to sustainable road transport and a zero-emissions future”. 2020 will see the first iteration. And Polestar is a founding member.

“I’m thrilled to be working with a leading OEM like Polestar on World EV Day,” says Green.TV founder Ade Thomas. “This day will become the catalyst for a digital campaign to celebrate e-mobility as a key tool in driving a decarbonised transport future for all.”

The founders see this day as the start of a truly international movement towards electric mobility and emission-free driving.

It seems like we’ve arrived at a tipping point.
