Summer Highlights 2021

This summer was marked by collaborations, campaigns, and events. And like every summer, we did it the Polestar way.

May 2021

Collaborated with Highsnobiety at the Paramount House Hotel in Sydney Australia, where robotics engineer and musician Moritz Simon Geist took components from Polestar 2 to create music, and then performed it digitally.

June 2021

Announced Polestar 3, our next car and the next evolution of Polestar’s design language, will be built in Ridgeville, South Carolina.

The Art for Art campaign was launched allowing collectors to trade their art for our hybrid performance vehicle, the Polestar 1. A true collector’s item.

Our second Polestar Design Contest was launched with the theme of "Progress".

July 2021

Went back to Goodwood for the Festival of Speed and brought with us our entire story.  Polestar 1, in its golden limited-edition colour, the Experimental Polestar 2, and the Precept.

Opened a Powerstop charging station at Mjölby, strategically located on the E4 between Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden.

Premiered episodes 1 and 2 of “Precept: From Concept to Car”, our Precept documentary.

August 2021

Went to CAKE World’s Race and took the Experimental Polestar 2 with us.

Invited journalists to test drive our new single motor Polestar 2 models.

Finally, we revealed our exclusive web shop, home for a limited time only to the Makka – Polestar edition by CAKE. Polestar Additionals is our newest digital space for our take on all sorts of lifestyle products.

Not that we’re complaining, but we didn’t get to do a lot of sunbathing…
