FAQ
- Polestar ID is your personal ID. It gives you access to various Polestar services including the Polestar mobile app.
- Your local importer will assist you in setting up a Polestar ID prior to, or during the handover. You can also set up your Polestar ID on the sign up form.Polestar ID sign up
If you have forgotten your password, you can use the ‘Forgot password function’ on the login page to restore your password. If you don’t have access to your Polestar ID’s username account (email/mobile number), please contact your local importer.
• First, log in to your Polestar ID account• Under ‘Account’ - ‘Sign-in and security’, click ‘Change’.
- Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. In addition to your Polestar ID username and password, you’ll need to enter a code (sent to you via email or SMS) to sign in. Please note: You will receive the code via the same email address or phone number you use to sign in.
If you have placed an order, contact your local importer for more information about the order status.
If you are the first owner of the car, connecting the Polestar app to the car will automatically add it to your account. (Polestar 1 and Polestar 2 are currently not supported)
If the car was purchased from a third party, you can add the car to your account by claiming ownership.
