Performance Stories: Braking with Brembo

Braking isn’t where performance ends. It’s where it begins. At Brembo’s R&D facility in northern Italy, we met Matteo Rampazzo to understand how fifty years of motorsport innovation have shaped the braking system in Polestar 4 with Performance pack.

That confidence is built into every Polestar 4 with Performance Pack. Each car comes with ventilated discs (392 × 34 mm front, 364 × 26 mm rear) and lightweight aluminium four-piston calipers, making Brembo's system ideal for precise, consistent stopping—even at high racing temperatures—while reducing weight, wear, and dust.

In an EV like Polestar 4, integrated regenerative braking converts deceleration into energy, helping you go further between charges. In Polestar 4, this equates to well over 500km of range on a single charge (WLTP range of 590 km).
