Glossary Squib board – a series of small detonators attached to various systems in the car (such as airbags, seatbelts, etc.) that are set off once their corresponding sensors in the car are triggered Verification prototype – the build series of cars used for testing.

The Polestar 1 will provide a peerless driver experience under any circumstances, and the testing process is designed to make that a certainty.

It's not enough to only test for the predictable, however. It's also imperative to test for the unpredictable. Accidents aren't planned, but they can be planned for. And plan for them we do, by putting the verification prototype cars through crash tests at different speeds and various angles. It's dramatic. It's exhilarating. And it's necessary.

Arctic Circle Experience in Québec Canada

In February, we hosted the Arctic Circle Experience where guests were invited to test the Polestar 4’s performance, precision, and design in true winter conditions. As night fell, the Polestar 3 took center stage, illuminating the experience while demonstrating its bi-directional charging capabilities.
