Use Digital Key
With Digital Key, the vehicle can be locked and unlocked using keyless technology or through the Polestar app. The vehicle can also be started and operated as usual when it detects a phone with Digital Key.
Note
If the phone's battery is discharged, the Digital Key function is not available. Charge the phone or use a regular key instead.
Locking and unlocking using Digital Key
The vehicle detects Digital Key when the phone is within an arm's length from the doors or tailgate.
The keyless unlocking and locking function works just like a regular key. Grasp the handle and wait until the vehicle unlocks, or touch the pressure-sensitive indentation on the handle to lock the vehicle.
The tailgate can also be opened with a foot movement when a phone with Digital Key is within range.
Starting the vehicle using Digital Key
The vehicle is started as usual when a phone with Digital Key is inside the vehicle.
