Electrifying acceleration
The combined maximum power from the petrol engine, the electric motors and the Integrated Starter Generator is 600 hp/441 kW. Maximum torque is an impressive 1,000 Nm. This gets you from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Pure, progressive performance.
High-performance engine
The combustion engine in the Polestar 1 is a high-performance petrol in-line four-cylinder engine. At low engine speeds, a supercharger compresses and forces air into the cylinders. This minimises turbo lag until the engine reaches 3,500 rpm, when the turbocharger takes over.
77 miles on a single charge
Polestar 1 has three lithium-ion batteries that provide 34 kWh and an approximate range of 77 miles in pure electric mode*. That's the longest range of any hybrid.

Torque talk
