Polestar 2 themes: an introduction

There can be too much of a good thing. Too many choices lead to confusion. How many people can make an informed decision when attempting to pick from a seemingly endless array of options?

So, we kept it simple. The material and color palettes of the Polestar 2 are carefully curated, an intentionally small range of options that all work together.

Some of our designers, following their wandering muse to different cities around the globe, have made their own configurations. We’re calling them themes, and each theme is named for the city by which it was inspired.

And just as each of those cities has their own distinct personality, each theme puts a different aspect of the Polestar 2 in focus. The high contrast of the Shanghai. The timeless modernity of the London. The unflinching consistency of the Berlin.

These themes show that different configurations all work. There are no bad combinations. Just the right amount of a good thing.
