Locking the glove compartment

When other people are using your vehicle, you may want to lock the glove compartment.

The glove compartment can be locked with a one-time-use PIN number when using the owner profile. Once the PIN number is set, the glove compartment is locked.

Access the PIN pad to unlock the glove compartment. It can be unlocked by any profile, including a guest profile.

To set the PIN, make sure you are signed in to the owner profile.

Press the vehicle symbol in the bottom bar and go to Interior → Glove box .
Go to Glove box passcode.
Type in your four-digit PIN and press Save.

To unlock the glove compartment, repeat the above procedure and type in your PIN.

The PIN expires once the glove compartment has been unlocked. If you want to lock the glove compartment again, you must set a new PIN number using the owner profile.

Numerous failed attempts to enter the correct PIN code will temporarily block you from using the number pad. After a few minutes, you will be able to try again.
