The rearview mirror has two modes: camera display mode and mirror mode. Camera display mode shows the view from the rear of your vehicle, whereas mirror mode lets you see the back seats. You can switch between the two modes by using the mode control switch on the bottom of the mirror.
Rearview mirror and camera locations

The rearview mirror is located above the center display.

The camera for the rearview mirror is located on the upper part of the trunk hatch.
Camera display mode
When the mirror is in camera display mode, it displays the view from the camera located on the trunk hatch. This lets you see what's going on behind the vehicle as you drive. When the camera display mode is active, you will see the camera symbol in the rearview mirror.
When using the turn signals, the camera view automatically adjusts to the corresponding side when you activate a signal. This is to help you see more clearly and reduce blind spots.
Mirror mode
Mirror mode allows the rearview mirror display to work as a normal mirror and gives you a view of the rear seats. When mirror mode is active, you won't be able to see anything behind the vehicle.
Important
Driver responsibility
Rearward visibility and driving awareness are essential for your safety and the safety of others.
Make sure you adjust any camera display mode settings before driving. Always avoid distractions and performing other operations while driving.
- be aware that the camera has a limited field of view.
- be careful when judging the distances to objects.
- wear any prescribed glasses or contact lenses if you need to wear them when driving. The camera display mode cannot compensate for visual impairments.
Care and maintenance
Keep the camera clean and clear of obstructions and dirt. The areas around the camera and other relevant sensors must be cleaned regularly and kept free from labels, objects, dirt and other kinds of potential obstructions. Failure to do so may result in functions giving incorrect responses, being less effective or being deactivated.
Do not scrape or use any abrasive cleaning agent on the rearview mirror or its buttons. This can damage the display's surface and electronic components.
