Charging devices via USB ports

The USB ports can be used to charge devices such as phones or tablets.

The USB ports can be used when the vehicle is in Comfort or Drive mode.

The ports will switch off automatically when the driver exits the vehicle. If the vehicle remains unlocked, the ports will remain active for about 10 minutes.

 Note

Extras connected to the ports can be activated even when the vehicle's electrical system is off or if preconditioning is used. For this reason, unplug extras when they are not being used.

Some devices may become warm during charging. This is normal.

 Warning

  • Position the extra so that there is no risk of it injuring the driver or passengers in the event of heavy braking or a collision.
