User profiles

Many of the vehicle's settings can be saved in a personal user profile.

The first time the vehicle is used, or after a factory reset, the Owner profile is preinstalled and active in the vehicle.

The Owner profile has administrative rights and cannot be deleted.

Tap PS2- 2007- Driver Profile Symbol or the initials at the top of the center display to access profiles.

If a profile is active, the initials of the profile will be shown at the top of the center display. When the system is logged out, a PS2- 2007- Driver Profile Symbol symbol will be shown instead.

In logged-out mode, you can use the system as a guest user. Functionality will then be limited and data will not be saved between driving cycles.

Profile types

A user profile can have one of two roles: administrator or user. The roles have different privileges for what can be done in the profile. A profile with a user role can switch to an administrator role. There can be up to 6 profiles in the vehicle, and all can be administrator profiles.

Automatic profile selection

A remote key can be linked to a profile. The profile with all its settings is then selected automatically every time this specific key is identified when the vehicle is unlocked or the driver's door is opened.

The last-used profile will be activated if a key is not connected to a specific profile.

General information on settings

Changes to the vehicle's settings can be saved in different ways depending on which category the settings belong to. The settings can be personal, global or customized for one driving cycle.

Personal settings

Personal settings are saved to an active profile.

There are two sorts of personal settings:
  • Function settings – settings related to driver support, driver's side climate control, the driver's seat, the power door mirrors, as well as interior and exterior lighting. These settings retain their values when a profile is added or when logging out from an active profile.
  • Audio and media settings – settings related to navigation, audio and media system, apps and linked accounts. These settings go back to default settings when a profile is added or when logging out from an active profile.

Global settings

The global settings are not changed when the profile is changed. They remain the same regardless of which profile is currently active. Examples of global settings are passenger-side climate control, memory function for the passenger seat, and some system settings.

Default settings for driving cycle

A number of settings revert to default settings1 after one driving cycle.

These settings can be adjusted while driving. The next time the vehicle is driven, the settings will return to their default values.
