Restricting access to a profile

You can restrict access to a profile by adding a profile lock. When a profile lock is active, you need a PIN or pattern to unlock the profile.

 Note

You need to link your Polestar ID to your profile before you can setup a profile lock.
Press the settings symbol in the top bar and go to Profiles.

 Tip

You can also press the profile symbol in the status bar for quicker access to profile settings.
Go to Profile info Profile lock.
Select your preferred lock type and follow the instructions in the centre display.

You can change the lock type whenever you want to. You can also remove the profile lock by selecting No lock.
