Manually opening the charging port
If the charging port doesn't open via the centre display or charging lid, you can open the charging port manually.
You can usually open the charging port by going to via the centre display. The charging port can also be opened by pressing on the upper left corner of the lid.
Make sure the car is turned off.
Important
This is only an emergency solution and is not recommended for regular use.
Open the bonnet and locate the yellow emergency release handle on the right side.
Carefully pull the emergency handle until you feel resistance.
The charging lid opens.
Note
The emergency release handle automatically retracts when the charging lid opens.
Close the bonnet.
If the problem persists, contact a service point.
