Performance software upgrade

The performance software upgrade is only available for the Long range Dual Motor Polestar 2.

Any modifications to a car's specification may impact insurance premiums. It's the responsibility of the vehicle owner to notify their insurance provider about these changes promptly. Failing to report upgrades could lead to complications, including the potential denial of claims.

The purchase of the performance upgrade is final, binding, and non-refundable. Customers should be aware that the Polestar performance software is classified as digital content, which will be delivered automatically upon completion of the purchase. As such, there are no statutory rights to withdraw from this transaction. 

The sticker kit, conveniently delivered to your specified address, comes with comprehensive instructions for both removing your vehicle’s existing door stickers and affixing the new ones. Included in the kit is a QR code that grants access to a detailed video tutorial, guiding users through the entire process step by step. For those who prefer readable instructions, the manual is provides for further reading. This user-friendly approach ensures that the sticker application is straightforward, allowing car owners to customize their vehicles with ease and confidence.

Upon completing the purchase, the customer will receive a meticulously curated package aimed at elevating both the performance and aesthetics of their vehicle. This comprehensive bundle includes specialized software engineered to optimize engine functionality, ensuring peak performance during every drive. To enhance visual appeal, two stylish replacement door stickers are included, alongside a distinctive Polestar Engineered 'rank mark' designed for prominent display on the front grille. Furthermore, the package comes with a Polestar Performance Manufacturer Certificate, validating the enhancements made to the engine power. A re-registration document is also provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards following the modifications.

For all eligible markets, pre-owned vehicles purchased from Polestar are also eligible. Cars that are traded outside of official channels cannot be monitored by Polestar. If you own a Polestar 2 Long range Dual motor with Performance pack, Launch control is part of the latest Over-the-Air update available for your car. By downloading and installing this update, the launch control feature will automatically be added at no extra charge.
