Activating air recirculation
By default, the climate system automatically decides whether to recirculate the air depending on certain environmental conditions. These include the temperature inside and outside the car as well as the air quality outside. If the air quality sensor notices that the exterior air is polluted, your car will automatically close the air intake and instead recycle the air in the passenger compartment. You can also manually activate constant air recirculation to close the air intake if you want to.
