USB ports
You can use your car's USB ports to charge a phone, tablet or other device.
Location of the USB ports
There are two USB ports1 inside the storage space under the front centre armrest. The left one can only be used for charging whereas the right one can also be used for data transfer.
There are also two USB ports1 in the rear part of the tunnel console. These can only be used for charging.
Using the USB ports
Always disconnect devices from the port when not in use.
Some devices may become hot during charging. This is normal.
The ports are disabled if you leave the car. If you leave the car unlocked, the ports will remain active for a while longer.
Tip
If you would like to keep the USB ports active while parked, read about keeping climate active while parked in this manual. When this function is on, the USB ports will continue to provide power even if the car is locked.
USB power output
The power output of the USB ports depends on the device you are charging. The voltage and current is modulated to fit the device you're charging.
