As of 15 April 2025, Polestar Distributors Ireland, part of OHM Group will assume Polestar’s sales and distribution operations in Ireland. OHM Group’s retail business, Spirit Motor Group will continue sales operations at Polestar Dublin in Sandyford.

Your scheduled handover date will remain the same. If it is scheduled before April 15th, your order and handover will still be processed and performed by Polestar. If the handover date is after 15th of April, Polestar Dublin, managed by Spirit Motor Group, will contact you to support throughout your order and delivery journey.

No, your Roadside assistance agreement remains valid, and our partner Allianz will continue their service as usual. Please press the connect/SOS button in the car or call +353 1 613 3990 to get emergency assistance.
Yes, Polestar Charge will remain as a service as for our other European Polestar drivers.
No, you will not receive a Polestar Charge / Plugsurfing card at handover. If you would like to receive one, you can order it through the Polestar Charge App.
Yes, we will continue offering the Polestar App in Ireland. While some sections have been removed due to our updated business model, the core functions remain.
The main functions of the app, such as remote controls, will remain. However, some features can no longer be supported in the app (such as support tab, inbox, order information) and some content of the app will be managed differently.
Yes, you can always change the region. However, to ensure the app reflects the correct content and services for your market, it is better to make the region selection accordingly.
Your personal data will be shared between Polestar and Polestar Distributors Ireland as independent data controllers. The data is shared to support various activities such as sales, marketing, distribution, customer support, recalls, and other related services. Whether your data is deleted or retained and shared depends on the nature of your interactions with Polestar. If you have been involved in activities such as test-driving, placing an order or requesting customer support, your data may be shared and processed to fulfil those specific purposes. Data may also be shared with the distributor where relevant, for example to process orders, manage complaints or assist with recalls.
