Centre display views
The different bars provide status information and allow you to navigate around the centre display views. The main views let you use and access navigation information, in-car apps, climate and settings. There are also some specialised views for managing specific car functions.
Centre display bars
The status bar at the very top of the centre display shows you symbols relating to the car's status and apps, along with the time and outside temperature. You can press the symbols in the status bar to open related views. For example, pressing the Bluetooth symbol will open the Bluetooth settings view.
The top bar, which is underneath the status bar, is your main way of navigating around the centre display views. By pressing the symbols, you can get to other views and functions.
The climate bar at the bottom of the centre display gives you access to the climate view. Pressing the symbols in the climate bar also allows you to change the passenger compartment temperature, use the max defroster and access the comfort view.
The status bar, top bar and climate bar are always visible, regardless of which view you are looking at.
Main views
| Home view | By default, the home view shows both a navigation map and widgets. You can choose which widgets are displayed by pressing the edit symbol in the status bar to enter edit mode. Move the horizontal view divider to change how much of the home view is taken up by the map or widgets. The home view is accessed from other views by pressing the home symbol in the top bar. |
| App library | You can access the manual, car status app, in-car apps and the app store in this view. To get to this view, press the app library symbol in the top bar. |
| Climate view | You can change a variety of climate settings in this view, such as activating or deactivating max defroster and adjusting settings for airflow and air conditioning. The climate view is accessed by pressing the fan symbol in the climate bar. |
| Shortcuts view | This view gives you quick and easy access to some of the car's functions via quick controls and favourites. You can edit the favourites list to include your preferred options. Press the car symbol in the top bar to get to the shortcuts view. |
| Settings views | The car's settings are categorised and grouped into a number of settings views, such as drive, exterior and sound. You can get to the settings views by pressing the settings symbol in the top bar. |
Specialised views
| Comfort view | The comfort view appears when you press the seat symbol in the climate bar that corresponds to the driver or passenger side. This view gives each side quick access to some essential climate and comfort settings, such as seat heating. |
| Parking view | The parking view contains features that help you park. When shown, it takes up most of the centre display. If the parking view doesn't automatically appear when you need it to, you can open it yourself by pressing the camera symbol in the top bar or app library. |
Note
Driver distraction
What you can see and do in the centre display sometimes depends on whether the car is moving or not. To minimise driver distraction while the car is moving, some views become unavailable, such as certain settings. If this happens, the centre display shows a notification or the driver distraction overlay. When the car stops moving, you can interact with the view again.
