Locking and unlocking
Key
The key is used to lock and unlock the doors and trunk lid. The key or phone must be in the vehicle in order to start the engine.
Locking and unlocking using the key
The doors and the trunk lid can be locked and unlocked simultaneously using the buttons on the key.
Unlocking the trunk lid using the key
The key can be used to unlock only the trunk lid.
Locking and unlocking with detachable key blade
The detachable key blade can be used to unlock the vehicle from outside, for example if the vehicle has no electrical current or if the key's battery is discharged.
Automatic locking when driving
For safety reasons, the doors and trunk lid will automatically lock when the vehicle starts driving.
Locking and unlocking from inside the vehicle
The doors and trunk lid can be locked and unlocked from inside the vehicle using the central lock buttons in the driver's door.
Unlocking the trunk lid from inside the vehicle
The trunk lid can be unlocked from the inside using the button on the dashboard.
Private Locking
The trunk lid can be locked using the private locking function, e.g. when the vehicle is left at a workshop or with a valet. This function prevents the trunk from being opened.
Activating and deactivating private locking
Private locking is activated using the function button in the center display and a PIN code.
Locking and unlocking
The vehicle can be locked and unlocked in several different ways.
Lock indication
The turn signals will flash when the vehicle is locked or unlocked.
Lock confirmation settings
Settings for how the vehicle confirms locking and unlocking can be adjusted in the center display's Settings menu.
Digital Key
The Digital Key app allows you to use your cellular phone as a vehicle key. An active digital key in the app is required for Digital Key to work.
Starting the vehicle using Digital Key
Digital Key can be used to start the vehicle. The phone just needs to be in the passenger compartment.
Locking and unlocking using Digital Key
The vehicle can be locked or unlocked using the Digital Key app. To unlock the doors and trunk lid, the phone only needs to be within range, e.g. in your hand or pocket.
