Motifs: Sebastian Kienle
Polestar’s ambitions are fundamentally linked to nature. We’ve dedicated ourselves to bringing about a change: a shift towards more sustainable electric mobility for the sake of our shared society. Preserving nature to improve the world. And if that sounds lofty and ambitious, it’s because it is.
And we’re not alone. There are others who are both inspired by nature and propelled by it, using their passion for nature to progress and excel. German triathlete Sebastian Kienle is one of them. “Whether on foot, on a bike, or by car, mobility has always played a big part in my life,” he says. A European Triple Ironman champion and world champion of both the Ironman and Double Ironman, Kienle’s career necessitates a lot of travel. He is acutely aware of the environmental impact this has and is, therefore, an outspoken advocate for electric mobility. “Just driving electric cars won’t save the planet, I’m well aware of that,” he states. “But it does allow us to continue to be mobile without harming the planet.”
“Polestar proves that sustainability and performance are not mutually exclusive,” he continues, “but actually complement each other.”
All aboard: the Polestar Referral programme
Enthusiasm is contagious. Upon discovering a new hobby, restaurant, or band that you cannot get enough of, the urge to spread the word to friends and family is never far behind. After all, sharing is caring. The path towards greater electric mobility is indeed a journey of shared excitement. And we know that getting behind the wheel of an EV can have the same impact. Which is why we’re launching the Polestar referral programme.
The impact of a party: Polestar and Rosendal Garden Party
Life Cycle Assessment. LCA for short. A study used to determine the environmental impact of a product. Polestar performed an LCA on Polestar 2 in order to understand and share our impact as well as encourage other car companies to follow suit. And now we’re looking beyond our industry, encouraging others to apply our methodology to help them create more sustainable solutions. Like Rosendal Garden Party.
