Aerodynamics have always played a large part in automotive. With EVs, wind takes on even more importance, with aspects like drag having a substantial effect on range. Given Polestar’s aerospace influences, and a design language that optimised aerodynamic efficiency from the beginning, it’s no surprise that Precept boasts impressive airflow credentials.

The drawing board is where those elements are created. The wind tunnel is where they’re tested. See them fire up the fans in episode five of “Polestar Precept: From Concept to Car”.

Chasing the Northern Lights

The night is dark and full of wonders. This could be the tagline for a wintery city in the north of Sweden. Jokkmokk (Sami for “River’s Curve”) is home to a 400-year-old local crafts market, some 4,000 residents, and the dancing green lights in the night sky, commonly referred to as Aurora Borealis.

Still Talking: Simon Åslund

Today, we introduce you to our very own Simon Åslund. Simon’s creative journey started with borrowing university cameras, but his flair for experimentation led him towards capturing moody cinematic night scenes. When he is not out shooting the Scandinavian twilight, he works for Polestar's Brand and Marketing team. Come along as we get to know Simon Åslund.
