We are looking for a Content and Social Media Specialist who will work with a team of marketing experts based locally in Sweden or Norway. This is a newly established role within the growing Nordic organization in our quickly expanding global organization, meaning that you will have a broad responsibility and ability to influence and shape the role as well as work closely with other dependent functions. The Content and Social Media Specialist - will report to the Head of Marketing, Nordic, and will work alongside the global marketing team.

Core Role Responsibilities

As Content and Social Media Specialist at Polestar, you will work together with creative agencies and a small, dynamic, team of in-house global marketers. With the inspiring challenge to start up a new car brand.

The Content and Social Media Specialist we are looking for will be responsible for attracting, engage and interacting with fans and customers. With the aim to grow the Polestar’s brand awareness and strengthen long-term relationships.

This via interesting and relevant stories and insights by using all content tools available like; social media, digital, web, CRM, and newsletters. The task include responsibility to develop and publish and interesting stories on our different digital platforms. You will be responsible to identify and transform communication potentials and ideas into relevant and authentic social media and digital messages and build a continuous and genuine presence in all significant channels.

We believe that you are extraordinary and a dedicated Content and Social Media Specialist and used to take editorial responsibility for social media and digital channels. You have a solid knowledge of digital strategy and know the mechanisms that drive our behaviour in social and digital media.

  • Develop and drive the Nordic social and digital media strategy + social-by-design creative asset development
  • Defining, enhancing and implementing processes and governance for all social and digital media activities related to our brand and products.
  • Plan, publish, and monitor content on selected digital platforms and social channels (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube as well as any new, relevant platforms).
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Manage social and digital media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.
  • Adapt and maintain Brand Identity guidelines in all digital and social channels.
  • Responsible, with agency support, for measuring and analyzing results and take actions accordingly.
  • Drive localization of global social and digital campaigns and assets as well as develop local initiatives.
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI)
  • Salesforce marketing and social cloud experience is beneficial
Personal Profile / Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, creative agency
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, New Media or equivalent
  • Knowledge of online marketing, content marketing and in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
  • Highly detail oriented and thrives working in a fast-paced environment that focuses on multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Highly analytical – able to understand, assess, and evolve performance tracking across all social and CRM channels
  • Well-documented experience in planning and implementing social media and digital campaigns and can determine which channels are best suited for specific audiences and purposes Show great passion for content, social media and marketing
