Lessons learned, resources and innovative applications from these projects are being applied all DOE sites. Polestar's personnel have extensive and diverse history and D&D experience have made them leaders in the D&D field (D&D Fact Sheet).

For example, the Test Cell A Facility D&D Project at the Nevada Test Site (NTS) was completed safely and successfully on July 27, 2005, meeting the performance-based incentive milestone for comletion of the fieldwork and being within 10% of project budget.  Working safely was a major objective in the completion of the project evidence by the team's commitment demonstrating no lost-time accidents or incidents during the entire project.
