Conduct of Operations (ConOps)

Polestar has a wide range of capabilities in the Conduct of Operations (ConOps) arena. We have provided value added ConOps assistance to our many commercial and DOE customers in the areas of:

  • ConOps Assessments
  • Development and implementation of successful ConOps Programs
  • ConOps Mentoring
  • Developing successful ConOps strategies during times of transition

Polestar is a recognized leader for affecting positive change in ConOps at a variety of facilities. Our efforts are directed towards establishing a consistent approach to operations on a daily basis with high regard to safety and production. Our goal is to instill the fundamentals of a successful ConOps program with an emphasis on command and control, hazard analysis and control, procedural compliance, communication, and change management. This translates to the ability of the facility to meet or accelerate established schedules in a safe and efficient manner with less down-time associated with inappropriate actions in the field.

Our ConOps experience covers hazard category 1, 2, and 3 nuclear facilities, commercial nuclear reactor operations, and non-nuclear processing facilities throughout all phases of a facility’s life-cycle. This experience is critical to apply the correct amount of rigor to the ConOps program for each individual and unique situation. Polestar is a recognized leader in identifying requirements and implementing successful ConOps programs during times of transition and change.

Polestar is committed to helping facility operators/owners in enhancing their ConOps performance. We are ready to assist in any way needed, from executive leadership, to first-line mentoring and coaching.
